The Innovative SPIN® Injection Technology: Pushing the Boundaries of Injection-Based Soil Remediation
This session will explore the basic principles of injection based soil remediation, the pro’s and contra’s of the traditional injection techniques and where the SPIN® technology can push the boundaries of injection-based soil remediation.
We will conclude the session with audience driven questions and answers. Please email me at elearning@landandgroundwater.com with any detailed aspects of the subject you would like to see addressed.
PhD. Eng. Jeroen Vandenbruwane is founder and currently managing director of Injectis. Jeroen has an academic master degree in Bioscience Engineering with specialization in soil science and holds a PhD in Applied Biological Sciences. He worked for 7 years as senior project engineer for a soil remediation consultant in Belgium. Based on his experiences with injection based soil remediation technologies, he started in 2015 the development of an innovative injection technology (SPIN®) which might overcome the drawbacks and limitations encountered with the conventional techniques. Meanwhile, the SPIN® injection technology is patented and has recently been awarded for its innovative character and as a promising solution for specific soil problems by the NICOLE Network with the “NICOLE Innovation Award 2019”.
