David Leinster from the Water & Carbon Group will present the Shoal Bay project where the Water & Carbon Group was engaged by the City of Darwin to develop a PFAS leachate treatment solution at the Shoal Bay Waste Management Facility. The presentation will walk through the stages of the project, the challenges to be overcome, and the implemented solution including the proprietary LEEF System® for PFAS extraction.

His expertise has taken him across continents, from Australia to the South Pacific, Europe, and South East Asia. Having grown up in an industrial-focused region, David recognised the significance of making environmentally conscious decisions. This fuels his passion for developing sustainable wastewater infrastructure that not only meets industry standards but also generates positive environmental outcomes.
